Access Psychology offers several services and billing options. Please use the below links to select the service you require.

Services Provided Include:

  • Counselling and testing for anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, goal setting and decision making, relationships, autism, psychopathology (e.g. Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessional Compulsive Disorder).
  • Management of addictions (smoking cessation, alcoholism, gambling, sexual addiction).
  • Post traumatic Stress Disorder, trauma and phobias (assessment and treatment).
  • Veteran health management, and (all of the above) services to current and ex-serving Defence personnel and their families.
Billing Options Include:
  • Full fee paying private patients
  • Approved GP Mental Health Plan (Medicare Rebates)
  • Private Health Fund Rebates
  • Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and Open Arms Sponsorships
  • WorkCover Sponsorships
  • Insurance Company Sponsorships
  • NOTE: This practice does NOT bulk bill


Paul Stevenson’s Fees:
  • Self Referral: with No GP Mental Health Plan is $297 per hour.
    • GP Mental Health Plan: Price per hour $297 Rebate of $88.25.
      • Having a Mental Health Plan does not entitled the recipient to a bulk bill service, rather it entitles the receipt to a Medicare rebate( currently $88.25)
      • Medicare Safety Net: Further if the Client has reached the Medicare safety net for Medicare related services in one calendar year, Medicare will pay a rebate to the value of 80% of the fee charged.
Provisional Psychologist Fee:
  • $88.25 per hour flat fee no Rebates available.

Professional Supervision

Services Provided Include:

Professional supervision is available on an ongoing basis for Health Practitioners of all disciplines, fully registered Psychologists, and registered Provisional Psychologists undergoing the 4+2 and 5+1 Board Approved Supervision Programs.

Services Provided Include:

  • Seeking psychological assessment for yourself or a family member for one or more of the following reasons:
    • You’ve sustained a significant trauma (motor vehicle accident, workplace injury, assault or natural disaster).
    • You’ve witnessed another person (perhaps a loved one) being hurt.
    • You’re worried about your children (perhaps residency or guardianship, their experience of divorce or separation, or Access arrangements).
    • You’re worried about your child’s learning ability or intelligence (perhaps autism, Asperger’s Syndrome or ADHD).
    • You’re worried about your own diminishing faculties (perhaps dementia or Alzheimer’s).
    • You need to change your Will and you need to prove your soundness of mind.
    • You need help staying in Australia as a Visa resident.
    • You’ve wound up in Court, and need help with your defence.
  • A Lawyer, seeking assistance for a client pertinent to one or more of the above situations. You’ll need a psychologist with credibility, ability and expertise.

Immigration Assessment and Court Reports

Services Provided Include:

  • Access Psychology offers Immigration assessments and Court reports for extenuating circumstances impacting on study and work, Visa’s relevant to anxiety, depression and stress, and impending deportation.
