Services and Billings

Access Psychology offers several services and billing options.

Services Provided:

  • Counselling and psychometric testing for anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, goal setting and decision making, relationships, autism, psychopathology (e.g. Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessional Compulsive Disorder).
  • Management of addictions (smoking cessation, alcoholism, gambling, sexual addiction).
  • Post traumatic Stress Disorder, trauma and phobias (assessment and treatment).
  • Veteran health management, and (all of the above) services to current and ex-serving Defence personnel and their families.
Billing Options Include:
  • Full fee paying private patients
  • Approved GP Mental Health Plan (Medicare Rebates)
  • Private Health Fund Rebates
  • WorkCover Sponsorships
  • Insurance Company Sponsorships
  • NOTE: This practice does NOT bulk bill
Paul Stevenson
  • $297 per hour.
    • GP Mental Health Plan: Price per hour $297 (Rebate of $89.65).
      • Having a Mental Health Plan does not entitle the recipient to a bulk bill service, rather it entitles the receipt to a Medicare rebate (currently $89.65).
      • Medicare Safety Net: Further if the Client has reached the Medicare safety net for Medicare related services in one calendar year, Medicare will pay a rebate to the value of 80% of the fee charged.
      • Private Health Funds pay different rebates – please check directly with your Fund to ensure your cover includes Psychology Services.
LEANNE BOTTOMLEY
  • $198 per hour
    • GP Mental Health Plan: Price per hour $180 Rebate of $89.65.
      • Having a Mental Health Plan does not entitle the recipient to a bulk bill service, rather it entitles the receipt to a Medicare rebate (currently $88.25).
      • Medicare Safety Net: Further if the Client has reached the Medicare safety net for Medicare related services in one calendar year, Medicare will pay a rebate to the value of 80% of the fee charged.
      • Private Health Funds pay different rebates – please check directly with your Fund to ensure your cover includes Psychology Services.

Professional Supervision

Professional supervision is available on an ongoing basis for Health Practitioners of all disciplines, fully registered Psychologists, and registered Provisional Psychologists undergoing the 4+2 and 5+1 Board Approved Supervision Programs.

  • Psychological assessment for yourself or a family member for one or more of the following reasons:
    • Significant trauma (motor vehicle accident, workplace injury, assault or natural disaster).
    • Family court assessments and reports(residency or guardianship, children’s experience of divorce or separation, or access arrangements).
    • Child learning ability or intelligence (autism, Asperger’s Syndrome or ADHD).
    • Dementia or Alzheimer’s.
    • Change of Will and soundness of mind.
    • Immigration and Visa assessments, expert court testimony.
  • Lawyers seeking assistance for a client pertinent to one or more of the above situations are also welcome to the above services.

Immigration Assessment and Court Reports

  • Immigration assessments and Court reports for extenuating circumstances impacting on study and work, Visa’s relevant to anxiety, depression and stress, and impending deportation.

Psychometric Assessments

  • Wide Range of Assessment for Memory and Learning.
  • Interpretive Reports.
  • Testing for measuring memory and/or learning impairment due to traumatic brain injury, Dementia of the Alzheimer’s type, neurodevelopmental disorder and reading learning disorder.
